On behalf of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to the participants and guests of the international conference GEOMIN 2026, to be held in Tashkent from 14 to 16 September 2026.

Building on the successful delivery of the inaugural conference in 2025, GEOMIN has established itself as one of the leading international platforms in the field of geoscience and mineral exploration. Organized by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), the conference brings together representatives of government institutions, industry, academia and technology companies from across Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Today, Uzbekistan is entering a new stage in the development of its mineral resource base and geothermal potential, driven by sector modernization, digital transformation and a commitment to sustainable and transparent resource management. GEOMIN 2026 reflects this momentum by providing a professional platform for the application of advanced geoscience solutions, artificial intelligence and digital technologies aimed at expanding exploration capabilities and reducing risks in the study of complex geological systems.

As the host, the Ministry looks forward to welcoming the international geological and mining community to Uzbekistan for the exchange of knowledge, the strengthening of partnerships and the joint shaping of the future of exploration activities in our region and beyond.
